The personalized experiences you serve them should reflect that. This type of granular segmentation will allow you to serve up lots of different personalizations, making your website highly tailored to each individual. Now, you may wonder how long a person should stay within a specific audience group. In most cases, assuming the visitor allows you to use cookies as identifiers, their audience membership can persist for a long stretch of time.
